What the owner, manager, front desk and groomer can see
The four sign-in roles, the menu items each one gets, and what only the owner can do.
Steps
- Owner: everything, including Billing, Business profile and the Activity log, and inviting any role.
- Manager: everything except Billing, Business profile, Activity, and inviting Managers or Owners.
- Front desk: Checkout, Calendar, Messaging, Appointments (and Requests), Clients and Pets, plus Ask Richie.
- Groomer: Agenda and Messaging only.
- To preview a role, the owner opens the user menu and chooses View as.
What you will see
- The left menu shows only what the signed-in role may open. Owner and Manager see Dashboard, Checkout, Calendar, Messaging, Appointments, Services, Clients, Pets, Reports, Forecast, Agent inbox, Social Groomer and AI skills.
- In View as, everything is read only. Trying to change something says "You are viewing as another role, so nothing can be changed. Exit View as first."
Common problems
- "This page is not part of your role."
- Ask the shop owner if you need it.
- I cannot find Business settings.
- The Business settings entry in the user menu is only listed for the Owner and Managers.
- Where is the Bather role?
- Bather is a label on a team member's calendar profile. It is not a sign-in role and does not change permissions.
Good to know
- Role permissions are fixed. Editing roles and permissions is not available.
