The service

SmoochiPet is software for pet grooming businesses: online booking, checkout, client and pet records, reminders, reports, social posting and messaging. Some business shapes and features are offered as early access and are not fully built; the website says which. Features may change.

Accounts

You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and are responsible for activity under your account and for the staff you invite. You must be able to enter a binding agreement for your business.

Plans, trial and payment

Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page and are subject to change; early access prices say so. An account can start free. A card may be required to start a trial, and the plan is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first, as described when you sign up. Fees are charged in advance for the period you choose. Taxes are extra where they apply.

Payments your business takes from its own clients run through your own payment provider account (for example Stripe or Square). Your agreement with that provider and with your clients is separate from these terms.

Your data and your clients

You keep ownership of the information you put into the platform. You give us permission to process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter your clients' information and for how you use it.

Messages, calls, social posting and consent

You are responsible for lawful use of messaging, calling and social features. That includes getting and keeping any consent the law requires before you text or call a client, record a call, or post a client's pet or likeness, and following the terms of the networks you connect, such as Meta. Some of these features may be unavailable until the relevant carrier or platform approvals are in place.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, to send spam or deceptive content, to harm others, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

AI features

AI output can be wrong. Review anything it drafts before it is sent or published. You are responsible for content you send or post from your account.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless we say otherwise. We may suspend or end the service for breach of these terms. On closure we handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

General

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. The governing law and venue will be stated here when this draft is finalised.
