Add a service and its add-ons to your menu

Set a service's price, length, online visibility, who can do it and what it needs, then add optional add-ons.

Who can do this: The owner or a manager.

Steps

Open Business settings and choose Services. Press Add a service, or click a service to edit it.
Set Name, Line (Grooming, Daycare, Boarding or Mobile), Category, Price ($), Length (minutes), Time before (min), Time after (min), Business cost ($) and Tax (%). A blank Tax means not taxed.
Show online: choose Bookable online, Shown, call to book, or Hidden online (staff can still book it).
Price by size: set a price per size class. A blank size is charged the main price.
Performed by: choose Every groomer, or Only these groomers and tick them, each with their own price.
Add-ons offered: tick the add-ons this service offers. Under Offers when this is booked pick add-ons or an upgrade service with a one-line pitch.
Steps (optional): press Add a step for each part of the visit, such as Bath on a tub, with its station and minutes. Tick Bather when any staff member can do it so the groomer is free. Without steps, use Stations needed.
Press Add to the menu or Save.
For add-ons, use the Add-ons panel: Add an add-on with Name, Price ($), Extra time (min) and Offered on.

Booking refuses a groomer who is not on the Performed by list.
With steps, Length (minutes) becomes read-only ("N min, from the steps below") and time by size is set on the steps.
Take off the menu stops offering an add-on on every service. It stays in the list as Not offered.
Retire takes a service off the menu; Bring back returns it.

"<Groomer> does not do <Service>. Pick a groomer who does (Settings > Services > Performed by).": Add that groomer under Performed by, or choose another groomer.
"<Service> still has N upcoming booking(s). Cancel or rebook it/them first, then retire it.": Move or cancel the bookings ahead, then retire.
"With steps, each step names its station: clear Stations needed.": Use either steps or Stations needed, not both.
"The tax rate must be at most 30%.": Enter a lower tax rate.
"Name the service." or "There is already a category of that name.": Give it a unique name.

Services they perform on a team member's profile is only a note; booking does not check it. Performed by on the service is what is enforced.
Categories control grouping and an online notice (how far ahead clients must book that kind of service).
