Help / Calendar and appointments

Use the calendar: Day, Week and Month views

Switch views, show or hide groomers, filter by service line, and read the dogs-per-day figures.

Who can do this: Owner, Manager and Front desk.

Steps

  1. Open Calendar from the app menu (the left rail on a computer, the bottom bar on a phone).
  2. Pick Day, Week or Month at the top right. Use Previous, Next and Today to move.
  3. In Day view each groomer has a column. Time before now is greyed out and cannot be booked.
  4. In Week view each busy stretch is a block such as "6 bookings - 7 dogs". Click a block to open that day. Under each date you see dogs, booked value and hours, and room such as "7 / 36 dogs"; hover it to see what sets the limit.
  5. In Month view each day shows dogs booked, booked value, hours booked and who is off. Click a day to open it.
  6. In the left panel tick or untick names under Groomers (All shows everyone) and use Service line to narrow to Grooming, Daycare, Boarding or Mobile.
  7. Use Shorter rows and Taller rows to change row height in Day and Week views.

What you will see

  • The button at the far left of the calendar toolbar shows or hides the left panel.
  • Week view leaves out closed days that have nothing booked; press Show closed days to see all seven.
  • In Day view a groomer's Hours & time off button opens their hours.

Common problems

"No groomers on the calendar yet."
Add a staff member with a calendar in Settings > Team, or finish the onboarding checklist.
"Every groomer is hidden."
Press Show all groomers.
"You do not have a column of your own on the calendar yet."
Hours & time off for yourself needs a calendar column linked to your account.
"Only the owner or that groomer can change their hours."
Ask the owner or that groomer.

Good to know

  • The column of tool icons at the right edge is always shown: New appointment, Hours & time off, Subscribe, then notifications, text size, theme, Get support and Ask Richie.
